How to work with us:
New hires:
We can add the most value to your hiring process if you involve us as early as possible, even while you are still assessing candidates. And sometimes it may be beneficial for you to have a chat with us even prior to posting the position.
The sooner you contact us the better we can assist with:
- making sure your job postings meet Service Canada requirements
- assessing if your advertising is broad enough
- explaining the immigration options and processing times in general
- reviewing your short-listed candidates and estimating processing times based on candidate's nationality and/or place of residence
- raising any red flags that you may not be aware of
- providing recommendations on other relation-related matters or pointing out potential issues (e.g. tax, benefits...)
- communicate with your candidate to ease concerns or answer questions they may have (if desired)
Existing employees:
We can help you create a proper inventory of the foreign workers you employ by tracking expiry dates and other relevant information such as work permit types, NOC codes, hire dates etc.
By sharing your data with us, we can
- track the expiry dates of your employees and their dependents
- ensure that you don't miss any imporant deadlines
- plan ahead and initiate conversations with lots of time to weigh the options and make decisions (for the company and employee)
- propose stratetic action plans that eliminate unnecessary LMO applications or work permit renewals saving you time and money
When you call/email us about a case:
To make a first rough assessment we need at the very least
- a detailed job description outlining the duties and responsibilities as well as the required experience and qualifications
- a copy of the candidates resume (and if unclear confirmation of the individal's citizenship and place of residence)
All initial assessments are free of charge!
If you choose to go ahead with an application based on our assessment, we will send you a consulting agreement outlining scope of services and fees.
