Policy Development
The foundation of a strong and consistent relocation program is the Relocation Policy. We will discuss with you what type of policy you require and what issues this policy would need to address. We will also discuss your company culture to ensure that the policies we draft will be a good fit. Other key components will be determining what types of relocation benefits you want to offer, how much this will cost you and where you stand with this in relation to the market.
Process Descriptions
With the policy complete, we help you to establish internal processes to ensure you are compliant with relevant regulations and keep proper documentation. This is highly critical for areas such as immigration, benefits, payroll and accounting. Efficient processes are also required to ensure your team is spending their time and energy wisely. We’ll look at your current practices to assess needs and modify to accommodate relocating employees.
Policy Administration & Training
We can assist you with managing your initial relocations while at the same time training your own staff to whom we will eventually hand over the process. Alternatively, if you do not want to manage relocations in-house, we can assist you with transferring the administration process to an external relocation service provider.

Tools & Materials
As part of our hands-on training, we provide your staff with a manual including a number of templates, sample letters, spreadsheets etc. which will help them manage the relocation process. We create summaries of your relocation packages which you can provide to your job candidates and/or include as part of your offer letter. In addition, we have created materials for the relocating employee answering a number of frequently asked questions and providing information on Vancouver and B.C. which will help them settle into their new home.
Follow-up and On-going Assistance
After we have handed over the administration process to your staff, we are still available to help out with complex relocation/immigration issues. You will also have access to our website with the latest news and materials.
